About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to learn as much as I can about life by traveling, meeting new people and having new experiences. Every person and place is so unique and interesting to me!
ABOUT ME
I LOVE to travel - meet new people, learn about different cultures, and explore new places. I also love to swim, draw, paint, read, spend time with friends and family, listen to music and watch good movies.
I go to school at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. It's a very small school (with only 1,300 students!), so studying outside of Knox has been a different and refreshing experience. I love to learning new things and am interested in almost everything. Currently I am majoring in Anthropology/Sociology, but I often consider changing it to Studio Art, Castellano or Latin American Studies. My many interests make it hard for me to decide what job I would like to have in the future (although I am sure that it will involve traveling and will in some way help people. Maybe teaching?? ...who knows...haha).
PHILOSOPHY
All you need is love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am unable to host people (I lack a permanent home of my own at the moment), so I participate by staying with CouchSurf members.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've CouchSurfed three times - in Montevideo, Mendoza and Córdoba. Each experience has been unique and positive. It's definitely my favorite way to travel.
Interests
As I already said, I'm interested in almost everything (well everything besides math...and the hard sciences). Culture, history, sociology, languages and the arts are amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all different kinds of movies, music and books. To be more specific, I like movies that aren't too bloody/gory, I like all kinds of music besides metal, and I like all books that aren't predictable/cliche.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering in Guatemala when I was 16 forever changed me. It taught me the value of traveling and helping others.
