About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Social worker between jobs, after a wonderful year of volonteering in a "slum" in Peru, and two beautiful but intense professional adventures: working and living with adults with disabilities, and then in the streets with homeless people, I'm taking some time to rest, recharge, and reconnect with myself and the world around (thanks, covid 19!) before starting another big project.

I am working small contracts right now and don't have my own place, but I hope to be able to host when I settle down. Wondering if I should look for a home and steady job right now or take advantage of my current freedom and travel... and where... =)

Update, November 2023: well, I had an opportunity and I took it : I'm travelling for a month across Spain and Morocco ! I hope we'll meet along the way =)
En attendant d'avoir d'autres projets, je suis partie un mois visiter un peu l'Espagne puis le Maroc ! J'espere qu'on se croisera en chemin =)

I also started a new challenge last year: visiting all Brittany by coast on the GR34 =) Hope to meet you on the way !
Bretonne de coeur, je me suis enfin décidée à prendre mon sac à dos et aller faire plus ample connaissance de cette belle région, en parcourant le GR34 et allant à la rencontre de ses habitants le long du chemin... On s'y rencontrera peut-être? =) j'ai parcouru les 400 premiers kilometres, au départ du Mt Saint Michel, je me suis arrêtée pour le moment à Tréguier. Prochaine etape: la côte de granit rose !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled for more than a month around Europe with my ex-boyfriend, and we were couchsurfing almost all the time. It has been an amazing adventure, we met a lot of great people, they really made our adventure more special and more beautiful than it already was. The same happened in the UK and Ireland, and then in the Balkans; and I met really nice couchsurfers in France and Italy, too, alone or with friends. I had very nice couchsurfing hiking in Brittany too, and travelling nearby. I also started going towards people to ask for accomodation, it was scary at first but those were great encounters guided by chance, and beautiful moments shared.

For me, couchsurfing is a way to make holidays richer, by meeting local people, discovering their life, sharing... Solo, with friend(s) or with my boyfriend, I hope we'll get to meet and spend a nice time together. I can't host at the moment but I'd be happy to go if you are visiting my hometown.

Other than that, my tastes are many and varied, in cinema, music and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roadtriping around Europe, couchsurfing.
Travelling in Colombia, visiting extraordinary places, meeting extraordinary people, living a week in communities in the jungle.
Wild camping and freedom. Bathing in rivers under the sun.
Being amazed every year by the beauty and magic of this beautiful part of France I go on holidays since I was in my mom's belly, wandering and dreaming.
An amazing volunteering experience in Peru.
Living with mentally disabled people.
Working and connecting with homeless people.
Meeting incredible people, everywhere. Connecting. Sharing.
Falling in love.
Travelling with words.
Going on a hike (400 km so far).
Not planning accomodation ahead...
