ABOUT ME

I was born in Bergamo, a city in the north of italy not far from Milan. After finishing high school i moved in Venice, where i've been living for 2 years and a half, while studing for my bachelor. There I had really great time, it's definitely a place everyone should go at least once in life! I've spent the last semester of my bachelor in shanghai (great place as well!), studying chinese and trying to travel as much as i could around china.
then i moved in Turin for my master degree in International Relations and i'm still living here after coming back from china. I can say that Turin is the place where a feel at home.
After getting my degree in Italy, I moved to China where I spent one year studying for another master called "China Studies". After that I was back in Torino for a year, then moved to Brussels to work in a think-tank for 6 months, after which I had a job opportunity from an Italian University to work in Chongqing, and here I am now.
As you may have realized, i'm keen on china, but actually i'm keen on different cultures in general and i like getting in touch with different habits, exploring places, meeting people... I really love travelling, it's one of the few things i think it's worth to spend my money on. I'm sunny, easygoing and quite sporty and I'm always listening to music or singing to myself while doing whatever.

PHILOSOPHY

trying to travel as much as possible to see different places and meet different people, while trying to find out if there's a place where i wanna stop and stay in or if i need to keep on moving forever...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted serveral times while travelling in Australia and China. Then I almost forgot about CS since a month ago a friend told me about that, just before leaving for Indonesia and I happened to meet awesome people through CS almost by chance while in there. Now back in China, so if anyone passes by Chongqing, let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I like trekking, cooking ethnic dishes and travelling without destination. Recenlty developed a passion for water sports: love surfing and planning to get the diving patent
