Hi! I'm Anna :)

I am from a city called Castelldefels, near Barcelona but luckily since 2017 I live in Barcelona city with my boyfriend Ignasi, my travel partner!

We live in the centre which currently I love because it's close to the train, metro and most important, close to the college where I go everyday. What I like about the city is that you could be doing different things the whole day that you wouldn't be bored. But sometimes it stresses me so much that the only thing that makes me very happy is living in a country where easily you can reach the mountains or the beach. We love to drive away with our tent in the car and just relax hiking or reading somewhere peaceful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started traveling not so many years ago but I loved it. I love discovering new places, new cultures, languages, people and traditions. When I travel I feel like a child seeing things for the first time, like if it was my first trip and I just love that feeling.

When a friend told me about c's I knew it would make my summer travels way better. And it just did. I always (or most of the time) travel with my boyfriend Ignasi and together we've met amazing people that we wouldn't have met in a regular trip. C's enrichens our journeys sharing treasured moments and knowledge.

I love to learn and although I don't feel like I have much to offer as a guest, I have the feeling that Ignasi and I are the kind of couple that is easy to be with. We like to talk, cook, sightsee or just walk or have a beer with our hosts!

Interests

I love literature and that's why I'm studying it at university. I believe that literature is the best way to learn about a country, it's traditions and people! And at the same time I think it says a lot about who we are :)

I also love photography so while I'm traveling I always bring the camera with me and take as much pictures as I can.

I just can't choose... I like so many books that is difficult to choose just one, there's a book for any moment. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it will seem amazing for you but one special moment for me was to sleep in a khaima in the desert of Morocco during the full moon. It was magical.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share... I normally share all I have, I've no problem with that! I like to cook so maybe we can share recipes :) I also like to learn about the countries I visit so maybe I can teach some spanish or catalan and catalan culture in exchange to know more about you and your traditions and language :) I don't know how to play any instruments but I always like to know about the music of every part of the world! It changes so much

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm sad because I can't host anyone in my place. I live with Ignasi (my boyfriend) in a small apartment in Barcelona and the pity is that because we are rented there we can't host anyone.

But I am sure that once we have our own place we will have at least a sleeping couch to offer to any of you! Because traveling is great but when you can't (because of money or because of work) there's no easier way to feel like abroad than having some c's sleeping in your home :)
