About Me
My fiance David and I are teachers at a local International School. We spend our free time backpacking across Asia.
Originally from Ireland, we previously lived in London and currently live here in Suzhou, China. China has been a totally new experience, a new culture and very different to where we've been before.
We recently adopted a dog and named her Sansa (because she's the red-headed Queen of the North!). We started off by fostering her but totally fell in love with the cute little mutt.
We can be pretty busy Monday to Friday with work so we're not always there or able to spend much time with our guests. We're happy to share information and help you out as much as we can but please don't be offended if we can't spend too much time with you. Come, feel free to use our place and see our city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Someone once said to me, 'if the whole world did couchsurfing it would lead to world peace' .
Couchsurfing offers a chance to share resources and meet new people. The way we see it...we have a spare bed so why not lend it out.
We've also found that we can get a true insight into people, their culture and country from those real conversations between travelers.
We love talking to new people when hosting and being hosted. We've found that we can get a true insight into people, their culture and country from those real conversations
