Like probably everybody on here, I like meeting new people. I might be awkward in the beginning and giggle a lot, but no worries, I'll get over it pretty quickly. I like to talk and to actual get to know the person I'm talking to, I'm not really into smalltalk. I laugh and sing a lot, not one day goes by without me having several songs stuck in my head. I'm very outgoing, love to meet up with friends and being outside, whether it's hiking in the mountains or just being out in the country or by the water.
But on the other side I really love reading!! People tried to convince me to get a kindle or something similar for all my travels, but I refused to get one so far cause I love to actually have a book, hold it, smell it and turn the pages. I just love books. I'm not only into stories but in literary in total, especially into poetry. I also write myself. And I love music!!

I've been all around the world quite a lot. When I was 15 I spent one year on exchange, living with a family in Minnesota, USA. And after graduating I did a voluntary service, working at a human rights Organisation in the Philippines.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As I said, I'm very interested in meeting new people and getting to know their stories. Unfortunately I'm not able to host anymore since I'm now sharing an apartment with four other people and my room is really small. But I can still meet up with you, grab a coffee or show you around!

I think the world would be a better place if people would know more about other countries, cultures and ways of living. Couchsurfing is giving us the chance to experience all that and get a better view of the world.

I do not like making decisions! So, finding ONE favorite book, movie or anything is tough.

Favorite movies might be Silver Linings, Harry Potter (I love those books and movies) and X-Men, as well as all kind of super hero movies.

I can actually decide for one book: The Little Paris Bookshop (it is amazing!)

I like all kinds of music. I know, everybody keeps saying that but it's true. I like rock, indie stuff, pop, country, electro depends on my mood. Well, I guess I'm not that into heavy metal though, sorry.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Took part in the World Conference of Grassroots Women 2016 in Nepal. I got to meet so many different kinds of people from all over the world, different opinions, cultures, lives. Extended my view on the world big time! Plus I went hiking in the Himalaya, which seems crazy thinking of it now.

No amazing, terrific, awesome skills, I'm sorry. But I can teach you how to whistle only using your bottom lip. And it's gonna be super loud, trust me ;)

My philosophy:
For one, I don't really see myself as German, same as I wouldn't see you only as part of your country. We're all living on the same planet, we shouldn't feel separated or exclude one another because of where we were born.

I like people and in my opinion human beings, along with the environment, are a priority! (I know animals have souls as well, and I love animals, but I'd still save a human life over a dog everytime). I can't stand people who only focus on money!! So if you're one of those; sorry, it ain't gonna work.

I can share laughter, stories, silence, food... Unfortunately I don't really have any amazing talents that I could share. But I try my best to make our time together as easy as possible. I could also cook for you, I'm not super good, but very creative.
