About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live simply, honestly and with a smile on my dial
ABOUT ME
A bit about me.. I am an open minded, laid back and easy person to get on with. I would rather spend my time in the wilderness than in a city but in saying that still enjoy going out and listening to live music, watching a show, drinking good coffee and eating cake.
PHILOSOPHY
Impermanence is the law of the universe.
Be conscious of your impact on the earth.
Love yourself.
Smile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed for the first time a few months ago and had a great experience. I have also caught up with a few people through couch surfing and met a lot of good friends who I found out afterwards are couch surfers themselves. It seems to be this amazing, integrated and ever growing community of interesting and interested people. I am excited to be a part of it and look forward to the many couch surfing experiences ahead.
Interests
I love... being immersed in nature: going hiking, ski-ing, cliff jumping (possibly my favourite thing to do). Playing and watching sport, in particular football (soccer). Travelling. Reading. Cooking and eating (I am a vegetarian/flexi-tarian). Gardening. Photography. Dancing in the rain. Being barefoot. Apples. Cycling. Handstands.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- anything that I can sing along with (80's pop is pretty good for this), has good lyrics or music that is soft on the ears. I can listen to and enjoy most genres of music except heavy metal.
Movies- I tend to cry a lot in movies and the more I cry the more I like it. A few favourites are 'Good Will Hunting' and 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'.
Books- I love books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking through the Annapurna's in Nepal was incredible. Walking for hours on end surrounded by breathtaking scenery... what could be better :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn. I am always wanting to learn from people... every person has lived an unparalleled life and has their own unique experiences to share. Talking practically though, I would love to learn more about cooking and if I could one day learn the guitar I would be a very happy lady.
Share. the most precious thing I have learnt is to love yourself and treat all your experiences with compassion and acceptance.
