ABOUT ME

Wellllllll where do I start...*ahem* I've been addicted to seeing as much as the world as possible since I lived in Brazil during a student exchange programme in 2002. After such an amazing life experience I took up a fine arts degree majoring in Film, animation, installation and performance. I have travelled as much as possible over the years to experience the many different cultures, languages, foods and people the world has to offer and each experience has been rewarding, inspirational and enlightening in many different ways.

I have previously worked in events management, marketing, public relations, tourism and graphic design in order to obtain my funds for my world domination! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am only new to this whole wonderful world of couch surfing and think it is such a fantastic idea helping all travellers alike. I have heard many reputable things from other travellers about CS and decided to give it a go!
I have been so fortunate to have met such compassionate and hospitable people during my travels and would only love to reciprocate by helping, sharing and hopefully hosting other travellers like myself.

Interests

I'm a real big kid and love animation, films, playing computer games and comics. I know - kinda geeky, but have a brother and I guess we grew up on the same stuff.

I love to be active and participate in Martial Arts, snow boarding, rock climbing, hiking, biking, swimming, surfing, free and scuba diving and any other water sport activity you can think of, I love to do!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen some crazy stuff in my time like shark diving and coming face to face with a 20ft great white shark in Hawaii right after sky diving...Now that was one hell of an adrenaline rush!

Recently I have taken up scuba diving and during a night dive in Honduras I saw a globally rare pheomenon when the whole sea is illuminated by 'string of pearls.' Like tiny strings of light, each a lightning bug floating in the dark sea as far as you can see, like a 3-D version of the introduction to Matrix or the twinkling tails of a gigantic firework. Was breathtaking!!! Diving has definitely made me fall in love with the wonders of the underwater world!
