hey there! I'm a person who wants to explore these united states. I recently finished college (December '10 from Oberlin, neuroscience degree). I'm so glad that this website exists and I hope to get to know amazing people.

However I can! I will probably not be able to host others for at least 6 months but I have surfed in Chicago and recently had a great experience in Cambridge, MA!

have done it three times. When I have couchsurfed it has been wonderful!

Interests

i studied neuroscience so i like science but i also have taken some awesome not science classes like how to play ice hockey like yo momma (ok that wasnt a real real class but i did get one credit for it!) I like listening to music but have a hard time listening to new stuff unless someone else puts it on. I like to read but slowly. I like to drink but not too much. I love beer. Lately I've been making pillows, earrings and other crafts. I like watching TV shows about crazy people and what they do, i also like cartoonz. i love games! with cards and boards and the like, i dont love physical games all that much

Music, Movies, and Books

I like books that are about far away places and things I may never get to experience. I guess that goes for movies too. I like comedies and dramas alike. Lately I've been watching a lot of movies which is always fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a semester on a 135 foot sail boat with 30 people. We went to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic but were mostly learning to sail and doing science!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like crafts so we can definitely reuse/ buy new stuff and make them into something amusing! I like to talk about interesting things but can never really pin down what that means to me, so bring something up and we can ponder it for a while. I like to cook though am not very good at it. That's a fun activity to do with people!
