About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am always changing and evolving. I'd like to have a mission that is about unconditional love for everything, though I don't want a mission that leaves me uncertain about how to live it...
ABOUT ME
I drink a lot of tea. I haven't found loose leaf teas to tote around so I carry the ones that come in a box and are each individually wrapped, lots of waste. I prefer herbal tea to green or black. I like the medicinal aspects of herbal teas, I can be calming myself, increasing my focus, detoxifying my liver, etc...all while sitting here writing "All about me". I drink Yogi teas lately. And I always read the inspirational quote at the end of the string as if it's going to answer all my current questionings. I'd like to learn more about herbal plant medicine so that I can mix my own teas from dried herbs and not make so much waste and constantly be looking for tidbits of advice from who-knows-who at Yogi Teas Inc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I believe deeply in the importance of meeting, sharing and connecting with strangers in authentic ways especially as 'modern' life continues to isolate and differentiate us from one another. I have had incredible couch surfing experiences. Both hosting and surfing. I have met people at all walks of life that have inspired me with their sense of adventure, their questions about life or 'Americans', and their willingness to open their homes and their hearts to me. There is a global community of people guided and motivated by love, equity, support and sustainability - couch surfing is like plugging into that community. And plugging in to this global community is part of what keeps me awake and striving to be even more so. I encourage everyone to give it a try!
Interests
i am interested in almost everything, that is part of why i've had a tough time figuring out what to do with my life, because I kind of like to do everything. What I make time for...cooking, lots of cooking, gardening, or taking care of indoor plants if it's too cold for things to grow outside, dancing, being outside in nature, hiking, trying new things that I am afraid to try...
