About Me

Hey,
I'm Annaïck from Paris. I am a very curious, enthusiastic person who loves meeting new people, and having deep discussions. I also love to take my time, hike alone, enjoy the silence.
I travel by train solo with my backpack, to discover new cultures, hike in amazing landscapes, meet great people, have deep and interesting talks, and have fun.
I also love Paris where I live, and would be delighted to show you my favorite places like cafés, jazz concert venues, street art, parcs, galeries or even hiking in the beautiful Fontainebleau forest 30 min from Paris.

* I love music so much, be careful if you start with this subject, it will turn into a passionate and endless discussion 🤓
My favourite bands ever are Pink Floyd and Radiohead.

I also love rock from the 60s, indie, malian, persian, turkish, soul, classic music...

* Books: 1Q84 trilogy and "Kafka On The Shore" from Murakami, the Fondation series from Isaac Asimov, "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" from Milan Kundera, Siddhartha from Hermann Hesse...

* Movies: François Truffaut, Wes Anderson, Wim Wenders, David Lynch, Gus Van Sandt, Terrence Malick, Claire Denis, Miyazaki, Hitchcock...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Traveling 6 months by land to Georgia, Armenia, Turkey and until the south of Iran, mainly by train, and also bus and ferry

* Walking 1000 km on the Camino di Santiago in France and Spain. It was totaly improvised, I only planed to walk 4 days :)

* Working in an NGO helping Asylum seekers and refugees
