Overview
About Me
I'm having a gap year in Australia doing environmental volunteer work. This is something I've wanted to do before starting University and doing other mature grown up things.
I did a high school exchange in Bendigo (Australia) a couple years ago, and quite love the country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To find more interesting places than hostels to stay for a night or two every once in a while. :)
Interests
Nature, hiking, reading, music, arts, good conversations.. I get easily interested in many things, and love to meet people who are passionated about something.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not able to name favourites, but love to talk about all of these. With music I've lately listened to a fair bit of jazz and electronic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I assisted in a shark research in Western Australia for one and half months last October-November. We caught blacktip reef sharks at the coast of Exmouth, measured and sampled them, and let them back to the ocean afterwards. I quite enjoyed that.
Teach, Learn, Share
The title above could be my motto if I had one. I think everyone should teach something somehow somewhere at some point of their life. To share the knowledge you have and to try to get others excited about it as well makes you yourself love learning in a whole new level.
And living itself is all about learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At least my work force. I'm happy to help out with whatever needs to be done in the house. I wish not to just leech off.
