ABOUT ME

I was born in the US but really enjoy traveling and living anywhere but there! I am currently studying for my masters in London. Previously I was teaching English at a public elementary school in Seoul, South Korea and exploring other parts of the world!
I really like to meet new people and have a good time!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to open my home and have a couch available for surfing but right now I am a student living in student housing. I have had nothing but great experiences on here and really love the community. Sorry if I am not the best person at responding to requests, I have been moving a lot and not great about updating!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People all over the world have opened their homes to me but never through couch surfing. Growing up in DC my family always had people coming and going. Right now there is a Brazilian, Mexican and someone from Cape Verde staying there! I think it is time that I became involved in my own way in this global community.

I recently discovered scuba diving and it is my new obsession!
However, since I can't scuba dive every day...On normal days when I am alone after work I like to crochet and read (boring I know). If there are people around I like to get dinner and a few beers!
I am enjoying the English pub scene and being back in a big exciting city, but it also makes me miss the countryside!
If I have a choice between spending time alone or meeting up with a friend, I will always opt to meet a friend. I can talk a lot (sometimes maybe too much) and am really trying to work on my Spanish. I studied abroad in high school for a semester in Spain so it used to be really good. I am also interested in learning more languages! I took Indonesian, Portuguese and Swahili classes in University.

I read a lot in Korea, last one I enjoyed was Wicked.
I need to catch up on movies but am doing a pretty good job here. Recently I really liked Darjeeling Limited and Trainspotting.
