About Me
Hello there!
Friendly and easy going, I have a strong sense for adventure whether visiting unusual places or experiencing new things.
I love to learn as well and seek all opportunities to engage with different subject areas. I enjoy a topical discussion but can happily natter on about anything - very partial to listening.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am moving to Amsterdam in September this year to do a Masters at VU - Environment and Resource Management, I cannot wait!!
Very keen to immerse myself in the culture and get to know the scene by meeting new people and doing lots of exploring!
I would love to start my year in the city with a new network of like-minded people.
Interests
Museums, galleries, theatre, festivals, outdoor pursuits and trying to keep trim!
Late nights and early mornings.
Always open to experiencing other peoples interests.

Music, Movies, and Books
A big fan of trip hop - I grew up on a diet of Massive Attack and Portishead. Spent a few of my teenage years rocking out to Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age before hitting University where a mixture of big sound systems and the whole Ninja Tunes army became a regular feature. Now through the joys of my work, I am in love with all things Futureboogie, warm, deep, soulful house music.
Always open to new sounds!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been immensely lucky to see alot of amazing places and done some pretty amazing things when in those places... To name a few...
Climbed Adams Peak in Sri Lanka in the middle of the night
Celebrated my 25th birthday with my massage teacher in Bangkok
Ticked Macchu Picchu and the Amazon rainforest with my Mum off the bucket list
My day job has been producing Love Saves the Day music festival in Bristol for nearly 5yrs now
Teach, Learn, Share
An amateur chess player (and boardgames - Settlers of Catan is the one), a big fan of cooking (Shashuka being a personal breakfast favourite)!
Love to get to know other peoples talents and skills.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook to wind down so any opportunity to show my host some hospitality in return for their kindness would be a welcome opportunity.
