ABOUT ME
I graduated from university in Canada a year ago. After working a job with crazy hours for five years as well as going to school full-time, I decided I needed to take some serious time off to see the world. That's what I'm doing now, and am looking to continue my adventures for a few more months at least!
PHILOSOPHY
Hakuna matata :)
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I am traveling, I am just surfing, but I plan on hosting once I settle down, most likely in Canada. You can expect me to help out with chores and/or make dinner / take my hosts out - I am obviously very grateful to those willing to host a young person traveling on a budget!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch-surfed twice so far (both great experiences) and done three Airbnb stays (also had great hosts).
Intereses
Learning new languages, skiing, aerobics, cycling, hiking. Obviously it goes without saying that I love to travel and try new cultural experience, as well as meet interesting people from all over the world - that is why we are on the cs network!

Música, películas y libros
Music - I absolutely love 90s punk rock... Blink182, Simple Plan, etc. - and 90s music in general as it brings back a lot of nostalgia. However, there are a lot of other genres I will gladly listen to. One of my favourite songs is Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind.
Books - My favourite thing to read is generally historical fiction. Some of my favourite books are The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein, Memoires of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin, 1984 by George Orwell, and of course... the entire Harry Potter series.
Movies - Some of my favourites are Life is Beautiful (an Italian film about a father and a son in a concentration camp during World War II), Fight Club, The Lion King, Big Fish, and A Beautiful Mind. I like pretty much every genre other than horror.
Algo increíble que he hecho
The most amazing thing I have done to date is climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa's highest peak. It was a grueling 5 days but well worth the breathtaking views and feeling of achievement that came from it.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I can help with languages (my Spanish is still quite broken, but I can help quite a lot with English, French, and Polish).
If anyone is learning to play piano, I took lessons for many years and would be willing to give some pointers!
I taught aerobics classes during university... not really sure if this will be useful during couchsurfing, but maybe I can help you improve your fitness level! :p
And of course - I can share through conversation!
