About Me

Ì am a healer and an artist who loves travelling meeting new people and adventuring.
I have often been told that I’m trying to fit several lives into one lifetime… and I have to agree with that. I love life too much not to try to make most out of it. Change and evolutions are the two things that I have surrendered to and that will constantly take me to new heights.
I am a professional photographer and an actress, but have also studied social psychology and journalism. In my acting days I got to do several tours that took me all over Italy and U.K.
As a phtographer I have travelled to the third world countries to document orphanages in Nepal, rebuilding projects in Haiti and social issues all over the world.
But the last ten years of my life I have only done things that help me evolve spiritually.
I’m a healer, yoga teacher, regression therapist, I organize retreats in Finland as well as in India. I have published different guided meditation CD’s and I’m writing a book at the moment.

The deeper I go into spirituality the more I realize that traveling is one of the best ways to open up for it. And to yourself. Every single person you meet in this life, will teach you something. Or you will mirror something for them. Your eyes open up for things you didn’t see before.
Couchsurfing has been an amazing experience for me to of course have a lot of fun and to connect with likeminded people, but also to learn about myself and about life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of traveling is to connect with people that you would not meet otherwise. I have tried being a tourist, staying in a hotel and going to see the sights, but blah…. that is booooring…!!!
As a couchsurfer I have experienced being part of something unique of each place.

Sharing experiences and hearing stories from your host changes traveling into something much more real. Especially if there is a change to hung out and do something together with your host. That becomes part of your life history, a precious memory.
And then there are jewels like painting an alternative theatre in São José do Rio Preto, babysitting for someone in Sao Paolo, taking a weekend trip together with someone I hosted in Finland.
I have stayed in touch with almost all the people I have met through couch surfing, and with some of them met again in different countries.
I find the only things truly interesting in this world to be people. Or stories about people. Each one of us is unique and each has something unique to offer to this world. It’s a blessing to have a chance to get to know and connect with people from different countries and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In christmas 2013 I got to live in a buddhist monastery in tibetan settlement in South India. I lived with monks that had escaped Tibet over the Himalayan mountains and we became good friends. Oh, the sharing of stories and dreams with them, I'll cherish them forever!!

Another cool and completely different thing was to drive (by myself) a Royal Enfield motorbike over the highest pass on the highest motorable road in the world (from Leh to Nubra Valley in Ladakh). To be honest, where I come from no-one would call that a road, with the rivers flowing through the road, causing landslides, the "road"being at times less then one meter wide, etc, but I got through it (and only fell once..)..

Teach, Learn, Share

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
