CURRENT MISSION

Travelling around Asia for a year! This wasn't a typical backpacker trip.. with yoga and minimalism it is a mission of self-discovery and learning continuously! Getting out of comfort zone is how you learn the most. :)

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Anna and I am from Austria.

I am a very spontaneous person and mostly don't know where I'm gonna go next and what I'm gonna do. I love it that way because I can go with the flow and listen to my intuition. Uncertainty doesn't make me feel uncomfortable.

I am adventurous and need to spend a lot of time in nature. I love spending time in the mountains. Cycling (bike-packing) is something I got into and absolutely love. I love the ocean and scuba diving and swimming and rock jumping too but I'm not good at surfing. :)
I'm pretty much up to any adventure, no matter of in the jungle or the mountains or the desert or a canyon or the other side of the world. :)

I eat everything but preferably vegetarian. In some countries and situations (eating at a locals house etc) it's just too hard to be veg.. I'd say I'm a little bit of a wannabe vegetarian. :) No super strict but definitely conscious.
I don't eat junk food.

I like to go out sometimes to party. Dancing. I like Latin music (reggaeton) because I'm a passionate Spanish language learner. I also like most other music including rock, sometimes stupid modern songs, 80s and 90s, karaoke :D ... Music from countries I travel to! ...I just don't like gangsta rap. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Love to share thoughts and life stories in person but one thing I can say: I believe in the law of nature. You attract what you radiate. No matter of you say you can or you can not, you will be proved right.

Unfortunately I cannot host myself because I am travelling but I hope I can in future when I settle down somewhere for a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Bike-packing in Japan (Hokkaido) for 2 months... Only with my bicycle, a tent and my gas stove to cook. Wild camped and cycled almost 3000km.

* Made it to Everest Basecamp and Annapurna Basecamp in Nepal.

*Hitchhiked alone in Japan and climbed Mount Fuji via Gotemba trail which is the longest one. Challenging but so worth it once you reach the crater!

* The Yoga Teacher course in Rishikesh that changed my life forever.
