About Me

--This "About me" section is from about 5 years ago - its all still how I'd describe myself, just that now I am a single mum of a sweet little girl and we are ready for new adventures together :) --

CURRENT MISSION

Finding a mission...

ABOUT ME

I'm studying history and although this will probably never get me into a well-payed job (or any job at all...) I am quite happy with what I'm doing. A high income, a car, a house, expensive holidays is not really what I am aiming at anyway.

I always enjoy to get to know new people, go out at night or just spend a relaxing afternoon in the park sharing some beers or some stories...

and of course I like to travel. I love to explore new places, cities, cafes, bars, museums...And the most important thing about traveling for me is not just to go sightseeing and take a selfie in front of the most famous monuments, but to get some impression of another culture, the way of living, to kind of "feel" the place and to make friendships that might last longer than just for a few days.

PHILOSOPHY

Es gibt kein richtiges Leben im falschen. - Adorno
(There is no real life in the wrong one.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Doors, Beatles, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, The Kooks, Manu Chao, Cuatro Pesos de Propina, Calle 13, Sara Hebe, Onda vaga, Chico Trujillo, Tribalistas, Perota Chingo, La Otra, Raggabund, Clueso, Freundeskreis, Absolute Beginner, Samy Deluxe, Prinz Pi, Blumentopf, Annenmaykantereit, Hannes Wader Konstantin Wecker, Wolf Biermann, Zaz, Tryo, and so many more!
My favourite author of all times is probably Herman Hesse.
And movies, well, I like "July" by the German-Turkish director Fatih Akin quite a lot, just to name one of the 10000 movies I'd like to recommend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to improve my guitar skills and I guess I could cook some tasty veggie food for you.
