About Me
Easygoing, spontaneous girl. A bit restless. Adventurous (not in a bunjeejumping-way but more in a 'I don't know where I'm going to end up tonight and I like it'-way)
I was born in the western part of Russia, the city that is called Kaliningrad, former Koenigsberg. It's a Russian enclave between Poland and Lithuania. I always show a map of Russia while giving a detailed explanation because that specific location of my hometown (Russia but not really Russia) drives me and people I explain it for just crazy :) After graduation I did my EVS (European Volunteer Service) in Belgium, where I spent one year in Ostend, working in art center.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My philosophy for traveling is being a traveler, not a tourist. I believe CS helps to keep it this way. Also CS for me is not a place where you can find someone to stay with for free. Yes, it helps to keep costs down and that's awesome. But mostly I take it as an incredibly amazing idea of meeting new people from all over the world. I host people, people host me or I just meet up with people from CS. We let "strangers" in our lifes and then after some time we perhaps have great memories together . At least, it's usually like this for me. It's fascinating. I'm very much in love with the CS idea, it inspires me a lot. I believe the idea of CS is one of the ways that help people to keep humanity alive and isn't it the most needed thing nowadays?
Interests
Obviously in love with traveling, nature, exploring new things, places and people, literature, art, cinema, photography, dancing, cooking, music and festivals. Sometimes parties but if it's really a good one, then I become a party girl and just can't stop dancing. A good trip/festival/movie/book can make me so impressed, so I can discuss it for days while sharing my thoughts and emotions .
What also makes me happy : my family, friends, animals, cozy little things and places. I love finding joy and beauty in everything and I like to believe that sometimes I'm good at this.

Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of literature I prefer the world classics like Russian, American and European literature of 19th-20th century: Chekhov, Dostoevsky, Gogol, Ilf and Evgeny Petrov, Dreiser, Fitzgerald, Remark.
Drama is perhaps my favorite style in cinematographic but also a (good) comedy might be my choice. Sometimes thrillers.
Music is almost everything and depends on my mood and situation but in general my passion is 60s and 70s, also good Techno and House they turn me a lot (hey yeah, I live in Berlin lol)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I enjoy being spontaneous and easy-going as I usually am. If all small things I do or have already done make me happy, then I consider them as an amazing experience.
