ABOUT ME

I like to stay really busy. I'm always spreading myself to thin. I get stir-crazy if I don't have obligations so I'm always finding new projects. Right now, school is keeping me really busy so I'm pretty satisfied with that. Because I keep myself so busy, I also like to relax really hard. I'm a big fan of sitting on the couch and reading a book or listening to records and doing nothing when I'm in chill out mode. I grew up in the woods in the Pacific Northwest and have a solid attachment to nature. I just moved to Chicago in August 2011 and am excited to explore all the state parks and forests outside of the city.

I am really engaged in school right now, studying political science and public policy. I love working with my hands and building things: working on my bikes, sewing, welding, woodworking, gardening. I'm really into bike touring, sailing, hiking, and just being outside naturally propelled in general. I play music too, usually drums or guitar.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Biking to the top of Mount Washington was amazing. It took 12 hours to go up and about 40 minutes to go down, and I got a sunburn that lasted a year.
