Hi, I'm Annalena, but everyone just calls me Annie!
Currently I am an Au Pair in New York, but I'm originally from Austria.

Traveling is my biggest passion and you'll probably never see me traveling without my camera - well, maybe if I force other people to take pictures of me haha. I love seeing new places, exploring, getting to know new people and their cultures. Other than that I am also into writing, picture editing and languages as I am trying to teach myself Spanish at the moment. I love the outdoors and everything nature has to offer, be it hiking, swimming, climbing, mountain biking,... but right now I am living a completely different life, spending most of my spare time in New York City... yeah by the way I do not live in Ellicott City, MD, I just can't change it lol.

I wanna meet people, exchange stories, make friends, and go to new places that I've never been to before. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best memories are always the "traveling and exploring" ones, doesn't matter if it was just an adventurous trip somewhere in the outdoors in my homecountry or discovering a new place.
Choosing to spend a year in the US has been a wonderful experience so far and hopefully I will be able to say "I had the time of my life."
