I am taking a break in hosting. I have been hosting non stop for about a year. This app needs a refresh but i guess the devs are to busy counting our memberships.
I am still open to host but it’ll be very rare. Sorry for that but i need to focus on my life. Also i feel like some girls have taken my generosity for granted and my place for a free place where to pee and store their luggage. Despite i am quite flexible and understanding. I cannot bear the lack of respect.

My name is Lucile, I live Downtown Toronto (5 mins from Dundas Sq). I live with my 3 cats and my 2 years old son. My current goal (it's just a silly goal with no particular reason and I do not make it a personal mission lol) on CS is to host 100 people by the end of the year. For some reasons I have always liked even numbers

I work everyday and I try to host as much as I can. I want you to know that if I feel a bit distant it's only because I am tired. Do not take it personally, If we click instantly, I will give you the best time you’ve ever had. If we don't, It's life but I will make sure you feel comfy. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I'm travelling: I just love the concept of the whole thing. Travelling by yourself can be tough sometimes and finding someone kind enough to host you feels as if you found the Holy Graal. You never know who you gonna meet and all people have something to share or to teach.

While I'm at home: I want to give back the kindness and help the travellers it is as simple as that. I want also to help solo female travellers to feel safe. It's hard enough to travel alone especially when you're a woman. It's the least i can do to provide them a safe place to stay.

Books: I have a preference for thriller. The list is defo too long to give you an idea of what I like

Music: my favorite music is defo punk rock music. You’d be surprised if i ever tell you i love Lady Gaga? I am very in fond of Jazz and I am currently learning saxophone:) . Mainly I love rock music but I am really open minded!

Films: my favorite movie is The Invention Of Lying. I also particularly like movies inspired from true stories about WWI & WWII such as The Immitation Game. I cant tell you i love this genre or this genre cause I also loved Mad Max Fury road and Soul (from Disney). I cry every time I watch My sister’s keeper.

Series: i am a girl so i am a huge fan of desperate housewives, jane the virgin, devious maids... Also I love those kind like Cold Case, Castle, and everything you can find on Nextflix and/or Disney + !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Australia
- I was interviewed by TV and press magazine
- I worked at Philipp Island for 2016 SBK Aus round and 2016 MotoGP !!
- I met Lauren Vickers and Keanu Reeves
- I watched Wolf Creek (trust me nobody wants to watch it so it's amazing!)

When I was in the UK:
- I was (and still am) track marshal for the BSB, WSBK and MotoGP
- I ran accross Troy CORSER (WSBK Legend) and convince him to share a BBQ with my fellow marshals
- I get 3 tattoos in a year that’s why I am poor now 🙈 ...

When I was back in France:
- Faced harassment at work and learnt I wasn't the problem
- Came back on my feet after a long period of grief
- Learned Saxophone
- Became a mother
- Gave breast milk and saved babies lives

In Canada:
- Ditched a 15 years so called friendship
- Broke my car (again)
- Tried to survive lol
- Went to NOFx Concert with my son

Oh and anyone else got his US Visa denied twice in a row ? 😂
I have plenty of other stories we can chat about it.

Some fun and great memories! I want you to give up all the " clichés " you have on us! We're not just frog legs and snails eaters or wine drinkers ;-) !

Honestly if you’re my guest I want you to feel like home. Some people taught me sharing is caring. Don’t be too stressed about bringing me something to drink or eat, don’t stress yourself with this 😉 !

However if you really really really want to bring something you can bring something for my son He will be delighted. You can bring something from your country if you really feel the need to bring something.
