ABOUT ME

Hallooo all! I am studying Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic at Cambridge University, and I *LOVE* anything Scandinavian - languages, literature, history, archaeology or art :-D My current life plan is to move to Iceland and marry a Viking, write novels, ride horses and make jam. LOTS of jam. I recently discovered how to make amazing plum jam whilst keeping the skins relatively whole OM NOM NOM. I love travelling and meeting cool people; I made some amazing friends when in India and Romania, and I hope to meet many more! If anyone fancies meeting up in Cambridge I can show you around the museums and art galleries....I can also take you on a night out to explore Cambridge night-life....LOTS of pubs!! I really want to meet someone who owns a llama. Llamas are cool, so if you own one, I want to meet you :DCan't always promise a bed, as I'm not always in Cambridge and when I am my friends often have other people staying over...*BUT* don't hesitate to get in touch anyway!!!Love Anna xxxxx

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't always promise a bed (but do ask just in case!) and term-time in Cambridge is very busy...but if you are in the area, I'd love to meet for coffee and show you a few of the main attractions....whether it be the Fitzwilliam Musuem and Art Gallery, some of the historic colleges, or just a local pub :D I also love parties, so if you fancy a night-out then that is cool too :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch-surfed once, and that was in Oslo (Norway) in the middle of winter. AMAZING EXPERIENCE and met amazing people ;)

VIKINGS!!! Scandinavia, Old Norse, runes, art history, Icelandic Sagas, Old English poetry, reading reading reading, writing short-stories, MASSAGE SOCIETY (yes, I can give good massages!), horse-riding.....I am a farm girl, so love being outdoors in the mud :D I also like FOOD...thinking of doing a world-tour and just trying all the delicacies of each country (although not sure I can do jellied-sheep's head and rotten shark-meat in Iceland....). I love being a happy hippy and getting involved in environmental issues.

I could teach you loads of random dead-languages....I could teach you about country-life and farming....I could tell you how to make amazing bread which involves honey, jaggery and cinnamon. Likewise, I could show you how to make bananna-chocolate muffins that will BLOW YOUR MIND
