COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on many friends couches and have had many friends sleep on mine over the years. However I only joined the official website when I started travelling in Canada. Since then I have met some awesome people and had some incredible experiences as a result.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gosh, the world is full of amazing things. So the more I travel the bigger this list becomes! However some of the highlights include... my trip on the Trans-Siberian railway. All of it was amazing, from the long train journeys with impromptu parties in the restaurant car to managing to be in Mongolia for the Naadam festival and going horse riding in the Mongolian steepes.

You've got to love a good road trip and without a doubt my drive from Vancouver to the top of Alaska was the best road trip of my life. The whole trip was just amazing with some of the most breathtaking scenery I've ever seen. It was also pretty exciting to be so close to the top of the world! This trip also opened my eyes to the wonders of The Arctic. So caused me to embark on another amazing Arctic adventure to Tuktoyaktuk in Canada's Northwest territory. Where we lucky enough to see the northern lights almost every night and to drive on the frozen Arctic Ocean!

My most recent amazing trip was to Ladakh in the Himalayas of India. An incredible place. I wish I could have stayed there for longer and I hope to return to The Himalayas again.
