About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to go, I don't ever want to stop having adventures or making new friends. Whether that means summiting mountains with new acquaintances or meeting up with strangers for coffee and conversation. The world is too marvelous to only know 'home'.
ABOUT ME
I have lived most of my life in Houston, Tx and haven't traveled nearly enough. And now I'm going wherever my heart takes me, currently Yellowstone National Park. I love to do things outdoors, and love to explore cities as much as forests and mountains; and doing all of that with interesting people, friends or new acquaintances, is the icing on the cake.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not religious but I do believe there is a higher power in the universe, whether you call it God, Allah, Buddha, Energy, Life, Mother Nature, Zen,...doesn't matter to me. In the end our time on this earth is only so long and I want to live every day cherishing those moments and doing so with people I care about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I am not able to host at the moment, I live in company housing, but would love to in the future. For now I have to settle with just surfing and meeting people. If you're ever in YNP though, hit me up and I'll show you around!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined CS about a year and half ago, and I love it!!!
Interests
I love being outside! The beach has always been my favorite place but I recently acquired a love for hiking mountains as well. Rock climbing, camping, hiking, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA diving(I haven't done it yet, but it's on the bucket list!), adventures into the wild and unknown are all things I love to do! I enjoy reading, spending time with loved ones, having great conversations on philosophy and life with friends, playing my guitar, singing for myself, dancing. I like to explore cities as much as the wilderness and love trying out new foods, new restaurants and bars.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music of all kinds and love being introduced to new kinds of music, and if it's live that's even better. There are too many favorites to name them all but some of the top ones are Dave Matthews, Nickel Creek, A Perfect Circle.
Books, I like historical fiction and the occasional sci-fi/fantasy book, my favorite author in that arena is Dorothy Dunnet. But my true favorites, the ones that make up my own sort of Bible in a sense, are Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist and The Secret.
Movies, I like everything from super cheesy vampire movies, to chick flicks, to classic dramas like Brave Heart and the Godfather, to plain old action movies. I don't like war movies that take place in the last 300 years, I'm not sure why haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived at the highest point of infrastructure (Canyon Village - 7918') on top of the world's largest active volcano (Yellowstone National Park, USA) for three months, and it was the best three months of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn to surpass the mental blocks society places on us of the way things "should be", and I want to be able to do so without having to consciously do it.
