Overview
About Me
I am an architect living in Berlin. I renovate the interior of schools, designing and building everything with children to create alternative school interiors and flexible furniture. It's a job I really enjoy and that I'm passionate about. In my spare time I love to sing - in groups or by myself, in a concert hall or in the shower - to practice yoga, to write and to draw. I have an obsession with learning languages and really want to start learning Japanese.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would never have met the people I have if I hadn't taken the "Couchsurfing gamble". It can be pleasant, or weird, or wonderfully enriching. I really like how Couchsurfing brings me closer to the culture and to the country I am visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music with harmonies, music that I dive into and sing to my heart's delight:
Lady Maisery, Regina Spektor, Nina Simone, Talisk, Peter Gabriel, Ibrahim Maalouf, Mercedes Sosa, Camille, Joni Mitchell, Avishai Cohen, Calle 13, Aurora, ...
Stories:
The God of Small Things, Jane Eyre, Rebecca, Jonathan Livingstone the Seagull, Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Autumn by Zadie Smith, The Poisoned Bible, The Bell Jar, Dorian Grey, The Glass Castle, ...
I don't watch very many films, but here are a few that have stuck with me:
Who'se afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Birdman, It's a Wonderful Life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding a bike downhill at midnight standing up, arms stretched out, and with my eyes closed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a lover of the art of listening. I can spend hours in conversation, discovering a new person and his way of life.
I can teach the languages I know, I can teach how to cook, I can share the stories I've accumulated on my travels.
Countries I’ve Visited
