About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world, meet new people, and keep growing as a person!
ABOUT ME
I'm a hedonist at heart. Not in the debaucherous loose cannon sort of way way but I like to be happy, eat good food, sleep often and deeply, and enjoy life. I am a self taught jewelry designer as well as a yoga instructor. Also I keep bees and enjoy learning about all things sustainable and homesteady. My practice is to always be working towards something as well as attempting to live in the present moment with compassion and awareness.
PHILOSOPHY
Find something to be thankful for everyday, shine your light, don't judge others and don't take things too personally.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I have the space I participate by opening my home to travelers and sharing my natural born southern hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not a huge movie person but I tend to like ones that make me laugh or teach me something. I enjoy almost all music. I tend to gravitate towards non-fiction information books about things like zen Buddhism, physiology and nature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to South Africa alone for 3 weeks and swam in two different oceans in the same day!
Teach, Learn, Share
Spanish is a language I would like to get better at speaking! As well as how to make good food from other cultures. I'd like to share a rarely seen side of American life that has nothing to do with the suburbs and Televised consumer culture. Plus I like to cook for others!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to make amazing vegetarian food. I'll talk your ear off about how amazing bees and beekeeping are. I can guide you to some rarely seen parts of Austin and give you at least one memorable experience in our great city.
