Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am just looking for couches and to meet people. After four years in Chicago, I'm moving to New York in February. I'm excited to treat this move as a long vacation and to explore the city with active eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing. I backpacked in Romania this summer and experienced it for the first time when my travel partner activated her profile. We met such lovely people who truly enhanced and colored the experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a really wonderful time in Uganda. I did not realize it at the time, but the experience was a test in humility and openness. Ugandans are some of the kindest people I have ever met.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to knit and to sew when you're at my house.

I was very interested in the crafts, particularly the embroidery in rural Romania. I would love to learn a craft like embroidery, basket viewing or carpet making if given the opportunity.
