ABOUT ME

Grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia - currently an international student at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA, I've been living, studying abroad & working in Europe (Croatia & France) for 6 months, and in Japan - for 4 months.
Creative person, amateur traveller, professional photographer and Disney nerd. I've been traveling since age 3, first country visited - Finland (sure thing since it's so close to Saint Petersburg!). Then I went on and traveled all around Europe by bus with my mom - she used to be a travel agency director at that time. Next goal - U.S. road trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that staying with locals composes like 80% of your actual travel experience - I would prefer a home-stay over any fancy hotel in the town.
I also absolutely love learning about different cultures and languages, as well as sharing mine with those who are interested. Meeting people from all over the world is the best way to widen one's horizons.
