ABOUT ME

Ecology and sustainable development are the key issues for me since many years. As an architect, I have been interested in the question of creating life supporting space – reinforcing both the environment and the health of its inhabitants. This themes are in scope of my interest both in the scale of urban and regional planning, and at the level of architecture, materials, environmentally and energy conscious technological solutions.

Another area of my interest are the global world trends – conflicts, consumerism, loss of local identities, traditions, the basic values and symbols. I analyze these issues in light of architecture symbolism, in my PhD entitled "Architecture in the center of conflict. Threats for its identity." Dissertation conclusions are being implemented by an NGO in the consciousness campaign project, based on the universal symbols and the various local traditions. For many years, my mission, was to inspire positive action through spreading sense of responsibility. Currently a foundation headed by me is implementing the project, which carries out this mission with maximum efficiently. It is the result of multi-analysis, and discussions with thousands of people. It is intended to integrate the principles, values, and practices of sustainable development into all aspects of education and learning. 6-year global media campaign entitled "Elements - Being Energy" will promote environmental responsibility courses. This educational effort will encourage changes in behavior, that will create a more sustainable future in terms of environmental integrity, green economy, and a just society for present and future generations.
Participation in the course will allow me to systemize knowledge of sustainable development, which will contribute to the preparation of an effective multi-annual campaign, successfully transferring environmental liability issues.

Meeting and debating with open-minded people will allow to share knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm with people from all over the world, which will contribute to improve my own strategies, and to further open up significant areas and possibilities for effective collaboration, which is particularly important in the context of the planned foundation activities at the global level.
