ABOUT ME

I have loved traveling all my life and learning about other cultures and people. I was living in Barcelona for about a year, but am looking to moved, to my beloved Andalusia, and have been here since the winter. I am kind, friendly, open, clean, quiet and respectful. I'm not a party-animal, but I do love to laugh, dance, share good times, and meet people. I do need some time to myself every day to decompress. It keeps me healthy and sane.

Since I'm currently looking for the place in Andalusia that will become my home, I want to meet people and connect and broaden my circle. I have many wonderful friends in Barcelona, who are my family, really, and I would love to create that here, I love the Andalusian people, and am happy to find this way to connect.

I love fine food and wine, and I enjoy cooking. I'm very "New Agey" (I don't like that term! But it serves a purpose.), and so am interested in Buddhism, crystals, healing modalities (I am a healer myself), meditation, and so on. I also love art, music, the sea, the sun, nature, and looking at beautiful things.

Classic rock from the 60's and 70's, World Music, especially African, Brazilian, and Arabic, New Age music to relax, jazz, deep house for dancing (and cooking!), cool beats in general, classical music, especially Bach, Spanish guitar, etc. etc.

Leave my 27-year English teaching career, put my life in two suitcases, and go to Spain because it's where my soul wants to be... on my 50th birthday.
