Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the perfect way for me to meet people in a more personal, low-key way while also making travel more accessible. I really value personal conversations, cultural exchange, learning, respectful interaction.

Interests

I enjoy travelling, hiking, being in the mountains, walking, cycling, listening to music, watching ice hockey. I like to learn about psychology. I enjoy political podcasts and keeping up with what is happening in the world 🙃.
I have a dog, flat coated retriever. I enjoy spending time with him, going on walks in our village.
I don't drink alcohol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved some trees in my village from being cut down (when to cut them down wasn't really necessary). 🌳
My friends and I took a roadtrip to Nordkapp, the very north of Europe.
I swam behind the Arctic Circle.
During high school I was an exchange student in Maine, USA.
I climbed Triglav, 2864 m, in Slovenia.
I spent time with the most warm-hearted local people in Banat in Romania.

I can teach you anything (I know) about Czechia.
I'm curious about how people live in different parts of the world, even the small things, their experience in this world.
