I'm an artist and beekeeper most of the time. Other times I like walking and climbing and doing things outside. talking and thinking about ideas and how to live and be in this world in a way that is meaningful or in some way. Concerned about the place I live in, and the ways we relate to one another.

兴趣

Moving and being still. Interested in intersectionality, people and space, societal structures amongst other things. I love dancing, and the air on your face when you ride a bicycle.
I like eating food picked straight from trees. I listen to podcasts and read and lie in the sun, and like to have my hands busy, making something.

This is tricky...
a friend once asked 'which books (listed as favourite books) would make you decline the couchsurfing request immediately?'
then we laughed a lot, rolling around in hysterics, mostly about male-centric books that now just seem to enforce the idea of the restless solitary man genius who is too amazing to have responsibilities in the world. Books we've read and often enjoyed... anyway.

Sharing meals when you feel hungry might be the most amazing thing to do?

There are so many 'notably' amazing things, and so many normal, everyday things that feel amazing or poignant in some way. I like quotes, and one that came my way recently was this: the blessing is outside your comfort zone. At first I was like, YES, and then I thought of all the times I was doing nothing notable at all, but had some sort of incredible realization. I still like that saying, but would like to add this; * YES! Not always! But ok!
