I've recently returned to Europe after traveling India, Southeast Asia and getting stuck in beautiful Australia where I ended up living and working for the past 2 years. Now I am on a mission to explore and rediscover my home and roots and find a new project & place :)
Travel has taught me a lot about embracing uncertainty, trust, letting go of plans and going with the flow. I am open-minded, respectful and easy-going. Some of my passions are community, social and environmental sustainability and yoga and mindfulness.
At my last workplace Lentil as Anything - a vegan pay as you feel restaurant and community space for workshops and events in Sydney I was lucky enough to keep meeting and connecting with amazing people from all over the world and learn more about new cultures.
I'm forever curious, always up for an adventure and appreciate a good dose of quirky humour (despite being born in Germany ;) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my most memorable and authentic travel experiences have involved being hosted by 'strangers' - be it through friends of friends or random acquaintances, when hitchhiking etc. I am super grateful for all the amazing and generous people who have hosted me and love the idea of opening our homes to new people to share a glimpse of our lives and make travel more authentic and accessible for everyone!

Interests

I love being outside in nature, swimming in the sea, sitting by a fire, going for a hike, camping, watching the stars & enjoying the simple things. Also yoga and meditation help me put my mind at ease and to enjoy the present moment. Despite of that I like listening and making music, I used to play the drum kit and am now playing the uke and sing. Ecstatic Dancing either at workshops or when I am occasionally back in the Berlin void ;) is something I love, especially enjoying beautiful festivals and community events like Fusion or Confest in the summertime. I am not the greatest cook, but I can make some delicious desserts :)

I can teach you how to make some nice desserts like a very delicious carrot cake or a vegan chocolate mousse - or if you're into DIY and crafting I could show you how to make a wallet out of old magazines or milk cartons and fabric.
