Hello world, nice to meet ya

I am a bottomless pit and if I could spend the rest of my life just eating my way across the world, I would. I play 7 instruments and I'm self taught; I've been playing since I was about 13. My only pet peeves are when people go to chains while on vacation and when people put too much ketchup on their food. Told you I like food a lot. This past year, I started playing roller derby which has been a life long dream of mine. I also got accepted into grad school in Performance Studies. I've lived in Louisiana my whole life, but everything in me just wants to travel and explore, so that's what I'm about!

My favorite book has to be "The History of Love" by Nicole Krauss, which sounds like a dumb romance novel, I know. But it's not, so give it a read; it's the most beautiful book I've ever read.

Music taste is vast and varied, but my favorite artist is Courtney Barnett. My go-to favorite albums are "Is This It?" by the Strokes, "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse, "Rumors" by Fleetwood Mac, and then my all time fave song is "The Story" by Brandi Carlile.

I'm actually not a huge movie watcher because the commitment of sitting for a whole movie somehow stresses me out. I can say I've seen Mamma Mia more times than any other movie - who knows why lol

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've spent the past two summers traveling around Europe. The first time, I went alone for 2 months, just meeting up with friends every now and then. The second summer, I took the 2 month journey with two of my closest friends. Both trips were magical and I'm looking forward to the day I can go back and do it all again.

If you have any instruments with strings, I can almost definitely play one of them. So if you're in the mood to learn some guitar or banjo or something of the sort, I've got you.

I'm also currently trying to learn Danish and ASL. It's a slow process, but I've learned a lot about the cultures surrounding both languages in the process and I love sharing about it, particularly ASL. I actually want to be a sign language interpreter so it's fun to practice with people.

Also have a huge hobby of costume making! Like I said, random. But if for some strange reason you need a costume or just need the hole in your pants stitched up, I'm happy to help ya out.
