ABOUT ME

I am a bubbly, open minded, and happy person. Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia.

Love meeting new people and getting to know what drives and inspires them. I absolutely adore the ocean, free diving, learning how to surf and pretty much all things beach. I play state indoor and outdoor beach volleyball, tennis, and practice yoga when I can. I pretty much can play most sports well.

Love running barefooted and exploring new places which leads into my passion for slow, purposeful travel.

I practiced law in insurance for four years but always felt like I was in this glass prison looking out to an amazing world that I could not experience. So I left that, and on the search of a new career where I'm able to help/to connect to people in a meaningful way. Let me know if you have any suggestions! Haha!

As the above, I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I also am traveling to Whistler on 25 October 2015 and would like to connect to others there!

Interests

Travel, culture, languages, history, love animals, love learning and playing the ukulele. Indoor and outdoor beach volleyball, tennis and all kinds of sports.

Total beach bum. Learning how to surf love free diving and diving. I volunteered in the Maldives for a month with marine biologists to help collect data on the whale shark population there. Amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. Depends on what I'm feeling at the time to be honest. But Colbie Caillat, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Maroon 5, Lenka, a bit of Shakira are the ones I tend to fall back on. I do feels Banks, Chet Faker, Glass Animals and Alt J and I'm totally getting into Oh Wonder.

Books - Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Gone with the Wind, The Alchemist, Veronkia Decides to Die, The Great Gatsby, enjoying The Songs of Fire and Ice and The Hunger Game series and a whole bunch of psychology stuff.

Movies - Big Disney and musical fan, I totally dig Inception, Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Arc and Last Crusade), Star Wars (Empire Stikes Back!), James Bond (any secret agent thing actually - find Archer hilarious).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The volunteer stint in the Maldives was amazing totally cleansed the soul! But then going off grid to Enontekio, Finland in the heart of winter was life perspective changing, glacier climbing and hiking in Iceland was pretty mind blowing and learning Mandarin in China was culturally earth shaking.
