About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn something new everyday, with a little bit of fun :)

ABOUT ME

Brazilian studying abroad, first time outside my country!
I'm a very sociable person, I like to be in touch with people, love to hear stories and share experiences :)
I have a tendency to look at the bright side of things, and if I can't find it then I'll keep looking!

PHILOSOPHY

Love yourself, truly respect life and don't forget that maybe there's a way to look at the situation that you haven't thought yet!

Interests

Read, watch movies, meditate, be close to nature, cats, long talks over good food and drinks (from wine to tequila), night walks, yoga, philosophy, coffee and so on!

Music, Movies, and Books

I believe there's a different kind of music for each moment of the day, but I have a thing for instrumental and some old stuff from the 90's!

I'd need at least 10 hours to make a list of all the movies I really love and that I'd watch it again, so I'll just put it down here what I can first remember:
- Disney lover, Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch and Finding Nemo at the top.
- Tarantino's huge fan, I'd go with Django Unchained and Kill Bill.
- Black and white: anything with Charles Chaplin or Bette Davis in it.
- Honorable mentions: The Green Mile, Olga (my favorite brazilian movie!), Forest Gump, Trainspotting, The Fountain and Into the Wild.
- The ones I'm ashamed of: Mean Girls, Bewitched and Midnight in Paris.

Reading now: Herman Melville's Moby Dick.
Book of my life so far: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Marquez.
Other books that I love:
Brave New World (Aldous Huxley) and Animal Farm (George Orwell).
Fantasy? I'll have Tolkien and Anne Rice!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say we're surrounded by amazing things happening all the time, we're just too busy to notice!
I'd seen a few wonderful sunsets in my life that I considered as amazing things. Life itself is amazing :)
