About Me
I love to learn-it's my goal every day! And my favorite way is to meet new people, in new places, and learn from your stories to understand the world through your eyes.
My degree and intellectual passion is in environmental science, specifically soil and water science. My hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, cycling and anything to get outside. I love to cook, and I'd love to teach you some of my favorite recipes, in exchange for one of yours?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What better way to experience a new place than through the eyes of a local? I want to make friends all over the world, and share authentic experiences wherever I go.
Interests
I love to cook healthy (usually vegetarian) meals, exercise (yoga, rock climbing), and spend time outside hiking or on my bike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've driven across the United states 3 times, and two and a half of those trips was alone! Well, the first time I brought my cat with me...
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a vast knowledge of environmental tidbits-whether it be ideal soil conditions for your backyard garden, what edible plants we see on a hike, random geology facts or current issues regarding climate change and agriculture. I love to share these things and discuss them!
I'm always interested in learning more about local culture and traditions wherever I travel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversation and fun recipes! I'm willing to lend a hand with yard/garden work as well
Countries I’ve Visited
