Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had a Couchsurfing profile for a long time now. In this field, my profile used to say "I like meeting people and I think capitalism sucks" which is STILL very true. But now I would add, "because predatory financialization of housing through platforms like airbnb commodify our basic rights, and in the face of that, Couchsurfing stands as an increasingly radical F-you to that commodification!"

I have partaken in the annual calf marking by Sami reindeer herders in northern Sweden.

I am a really good cook (I used to run a catering company) and am always excited to cook and share a meal with my host or guests.
