ABOUT ME
My name is Anna, I used to study for becoming a teacher for German language and geography, I used to work for a house management company and am currently working in the field of Human Resources.

I'm a kind of talkative and outgoing person but therefore there is almost no awkward dead silence :-)
Since 2010 I'm volunteering in a student led development aid organization called "Global Brigades" where I got the chance in 2011 to realize a microfinance project in Central Region, Ghana, West Africa. Being part of the German section of this NGO takes a huge part of my freetime but I really enjoy the work and it is a good feeling to know that you're trying to set up some sustainable projects for people who really need some development!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If you are in town, just write to me and I'm doing our best to host you or to show you around!
While I'm traveling around the world I'd appreciate finding a place to sleep and nice and open-hearted people who also might have fun being my guide for some hours!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, me and my former flatmate had a wonderful time both at Paris and Lyon on our trip through France in 2010 and for that reason I'm looking forward to spend more time with couchsurfing at other places.
Furthermore, the coolest American girl you can find on earth spent about two weeks at our place and changed the flat into the home of craziness ;-)
The latest CS experience has been my amazing visit in S.F. and my hosts' return visit.
And of course I'd like to welcome more couchsurfers at my cosy place!

Interesses

I love traveling, reading, making and listening to music, spending time with my friends and being out in the nature. I also like to do sports, especially riding and swimming. Having fun with my friends does also play a big role in my life - we are going out in the nature, visiting local pubs or host dinner parties for each other.
