CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to try and create as many opportunities to travel as I can in between my PhD research.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel! That is because I love nature, different cultures, and different opinions and experiences to try and understand the world a slightly little bit better. I have a great passion for nature and wildlife and photography, so I end up hiking a lot. So as you can see I am a PhD student, I do experiments and research on plants, and in betweens I visit new places. Sometimes close to home, sometimes far away. But even at home I keep myself busy looking for new things.
I laugh easily , and I have great awe for beautiful animals and landscapes. I like it when people are passionate about something, anything. Also, I tend to say yes to every opportunity, therefore I also like all different sports, I like to try them all. Currently Im playing a lot of tennis and Muay Thai. PHILOSOPHY

I think everything has a purpose, at least this idea works pretty well in my life. I.e. everything slightly less positive that has happened to me has led to something amazing. For example, I broke my leg in Croatia, and because of that I ended up in South America for five months... whuaha see what I mean?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many many CS meetings in Brasilia, which made my stay... lets say... turbulent :D Ive surfed couches in Oman and Turkey, and met up with other travellers to rent a car and drive through Oman and I have made really good friends through these experiences.

Interests

I think this is kinda clear by now. So Im interested in being outdoors!!!! Nature, (modern) art, geology (supercool!), anthropology (part of travelling), and many (many many many) more things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The month I lived near St. Petersburg, not in the city but an hour away from the tourists, was really really impressive.

Teach, Learn, Share

Haha I can teach you how to dissect an animal or plant. I can tell you about my country and I tend to end up in random places so I have some crazy stories. I can share with you my ideas about nature and ecology and stuff.
I like it when people have a passion, for anything really. If you are crazy about something I would love to learn about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good company, I think I can be good entertainment. Meanwhile I try not to be of too much trouble. It depends on the host really. I can keep myself occupied when you are busy, and I am open and interested when you like to spend time showing me your world.
