About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Done with my worldtrip, now studying medicine, trying to learn new languages, cooking the best food from all over the world and seeing Europe and Germany. Maybe building a van soon, to live the Van life :) but that’s still daydreaming

ABOUT ME

I used to be a paramedic in Germany and work long shifts. I saved up money for 3 years to quit and travel the world. I am a water person. I have been swimming since I was 6 years old. I love snorkeling, I just did my PADI open water diver, I love to wakeboard, SUP and anything water related pretty much.
I want to try surfing at some point during my trip also. I try to be kind all the time and be thankful for what I have and I can do. I get really mad while driving, if people in front of me aren't doing what that should be, though. I love to sing along to every song I know and usually am the first person on the dance floor. I don't care what people think about be (too much- I guess everybody does a little) and I do my own thing but I still know how to compromise. I think I was a pushy person when I was younger but am no longer. I'm settled and I don't drink ;) it's still fun.
I just try to make my life worth living and make the best of everything.

PHILOSOPHY

What you give is what you get. So Smile it might just make someones day.
"Everyday might be your last, so live it to its fullest" sounds very cheesy but being a paramedic and having seen people almost die, makes you appreciate your life and the little time you may have on this planet.
I live by the rule to say whatever Is on your mind as long as its not hurtful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in the Couchsurfing community to get to know new interesting people with different cultures and other viewpoints on the world. While traveling I also love to get the local, inside view on a place rather than the touristy part.
I want to see the world and would consider myself a "world-person" (my understanding of the word is, that we all come from the planet called earth and borders and countries don't really define us as a person).

Interests

books, all kinds of cultures, good food, people, sports, music, swimming, yoga, traveling, festivals, dancing, sewing, being creative, giving back to the community, conversations about life, the world and random things, diving,

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I'm defiantly a Harry Potter geek, also loving books from Jostein Gaarder and Markus Zusak. Lately been reading the John green books, I'm hooked. There are many and I love good recommendations, because the traveling give me enough time to do a lot of reading.

Movies: Shakespeare in love, Scott pilgrim vs the world, Harry potter, the Disney movies, Panem-Trilogy. Also like action Movies, unfortunately I'm way to scared for any thriller movies.
And I just watched an amazing Bollywood movie just forgot the name, since it was Indian.

Music: mainly alternative for festivals: the kooks, arctic monkeys, beatsteaks, Macklemore, Lily Allen and so on ... but I can enjoy almost any kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just did my PADI open diver and saw a turtle. I loved it. It's probably not super special, but it was amazing for me.
Also I saved someone's live and helped a woman give birth to a healthy boy. He is 4 years old now.
I guess traveling the world on your own is pretty amazing as well. It's a good experience to travel alone and see the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I consider myself a fairly good cook, and I am happy to help in the kitchen as much as i can, could also do the clean up afterwards, I don't mind. I'm fluent in english so I could teach that also I'm a paramedic so and first aid questions can be adressed to me, I could also teach you CPR.
I could also give swim lessons if wanted.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My happy and outgoing personality. I'll gladly help on chores that have to be done. I have a little sewing knowledge, might be able to cut your hair (if you want the plain tips cut off) and can cook. I'm a bad singer although I try it often enough. I'm a crafty person too. I'm sure we'll find something.
