About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I study at the university in Aarhus, Denmark. At the moment I do a small break in between my bachelor and master degree. I'm working in a small shop with woolen products and kids toys made of wood. I do some volunteer work aswell and take care of our small vegtable garden. Previously I've been traveling quite a lot in different constellation: Alone, with friends and with my boyfriend. I know for sure, that when I have the time I feel like exploring new cultures, see nature I haven't seen before, get to know new perspectives of life, new people, eat good food, have time to just sit at a cafe watching people going by.
In 2017 I did an exchange at the Arctic University of Northern Norway in the city of Tromsø. Over the last years I have spend some summers exploring Denmark.
For the summer 2019 my boyfriend and I are travelling aroung Central Europe by train.
ABOUT ME
I'm a danish 26-year-old woman. I'm a full time vegetarian and one of my main interests these years is how to live a more sustainable life. I'm into outdoor life, and would rather have great nature experiences than watching movies.
I have a bachelor degree in education science and I use time on volunteering for the Danish association of Action Aid International. Furthermore I love to visit museums - both history and art, enjoy to read a novel, go for a concert, go for a serious walk or hike and really appreciate a cold glass of wine or a cup of coffee together with a conversation about everything or nothing.
I grew up on the country side, but I really do like visiting cities - to get a cultural experience. I'm very social and like to be with people, come to know new friends, languages and have fun.
I try hard to adapt the cultures of the countries I'm visiting and traveling in.
My boyfriend, Sebastian, who I'm sometimes traveling with, is studying psychology and we have been living together scince 2018 but have been a couple scine 2015. He's down to earth, ambitious, interested in both his friends and the worlds wellbeing. We have been traveling before for more than six months so we know how to be with other people even when we're traveling together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's the best way to get to know the people and the culture. It's the best way to find the hidden paradises and true beauty of the different places and cities. I'll do my best to adapt and live like the locals.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started using couchsurfing in 2013 and I've got very nice experience ever since: In Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam and Utrecht, Slovenia, Budapest, Prague and Germany with my friend. I've also stayed with local people in Nepal, Laos and Vietnam.
