ABOUT ME

Hi! We are Anna and Veit, we are a married couple and we live in Freiburg. We both graduated from University in the spring of 2014. Veit started a PhD program in medieval history and Anna works as an elementary school teacher.
Our appartment is located in the Stühlinger neighborhood , just a few blocks west of the main train station and the downtown area, where all the sights are.
We are both into Punkrock, Dubstep, EDM and D`n`B and on the weekends we like to go out (eventhough, admittedly, this has decreased somewhat over the last years). We are always up for a beer in one of Freiburgs many pubs and bars. If we are not going out we love to kick back and watch TV shows like The Wire, The Walking Dead or True Detective.
Politically, we are on the left - if you want to talk politics, we are interested, but we are tolerant of (almost) all kinds of different views and do not seek to convert people. Please do refrain, however, from openly homophobic, sexist or racist comments. And if you don't care about politics, that is fine by us, too :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have quite a lot of experience with Couchsurfing. We use it when we travel and we host people when we're in Freiburg.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We surfed all over North America in the summers of 2011 and 2014 and have been hosting since we came back to Freiburg in August 2011. So far we have only met great people and Couchsurfing has enriched both our lives in a great many ways.
