About Me

Hey there! I'm Anne from Germany and I just moved to Berlin to study here. The city is great, really busy but laid-back at the same time, I'm still exploring it and am really enjoying to get to know another city in Germany.
I am really excited to see lots of different stunning places, cities and animals, meet lots of new people and to explore the different culture on my future journeys. I'm an open-minded, enthusiastic person with a positive and bright mindset.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know the local life, get some advices about your home place and meet lots of new different people all over the world :)

Interests

I like the nature, going out for hikes and skiing, I like baking and cooking, music, photography, reading and wine :)
It's always good to stay up until the clouds are purple, to leave lipstick marks on wine glasses, to try the cake dough before it's baked, to go to the cinema on your own to watch movies with subtitles that nobody else wants to see, playing Zelda or Pokémon on your Gameboy Advanced SP and to sleep until it's pm and the sun is shining in your face.
I love going to concerts or to exhibitions, I am really fascinated about how other people show their thoughts with the help of paint or an instrument.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading and I honestly read so many different books that I can't really say which one is my favorite. But "The little prince" for sure is under the top three.
I really like French movies they're always a bit different, "The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain" for example.
Other than that I like all kinds of movies that make you question the world, but sometimes you just need a good Pixar movie, or a feel-good romantic comedy :)
I am currently seeking my genre of music that's why I am trying to listen to all kinds of music at the moment. If you have a good song, band or album I want to hear your advice and will listen to them for sure! (:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in a van for a couple of months and drove all the way from Canada's west coast to the east coast - bears, stunning lakes and awesome people included (:
It was a blast to get away from the daily life and experience a country that way! Can't wait to do that again somewhere else!
And I've been to Tanzania for a school exchange years ago and that time was a stunning time I will never forget. The differences in culture, language and how we saw the world were so big, but we got along so well and it was so interesting to share our opinions and ideas.

Teach, Learn, Share

The little things in live make it so fascinating. The falling leaves in autumn, the first flowers that show themselves in spring, a little note from a friend in the morning or a good busker in the streets when you forget where you are and just listen to the song for a moment.
