A Canadian with a passion for travel, I've been travelling and house sitting with my partner of 15 years, Ryan since October 2017. Since then, we've been lucky to explore parts of Asia, Europe and Mexico.

We left behind our lives in Toronto in pursuit of our passion, but have been lucky enough to start working online as we travel. We both work as digital communications consultants, specializing in SEO and Social Media (similar to our previous careers in Toronto).

In any new place, you can usually find us exploring the local market, searching for a hike and hunting great street art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more we travel, the more we've learned that relying on the kindness of others will most often land you in the best situations. We love to experience new places like the locals, not as tourists, and find staying in someone's home is the best way to start understanding the local life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since starting our travels, we've been lucky to check off a few big bucket list items, including:
- Climbing Mount Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo (including doing the world's highest via Ferrata)
- Visiting the Komodo dragons on Rinca Island, Indonesia (along with an amazing 9-day motorbike trip)
- Spending three weeks travelling around Sri Lanka by Tuktuk (see his adventures at #TuktukDarrell)
- Exploring the Giza Plateau and marveling at the incredible Pyramids (even going inside the Great Pyramid!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to share an endless supply of travel stories over a homemade breakfast (Ryan makes a great omelet) or a bottle of wine. We've found wild hot springs in Taiwan, got lost in the jungles of Malaysia (many times), spent two weeks camping across Ireland, learnt about mezcal in Mexico, and so much more.

As experienced house sitters, we can also share loads of tips for anyone looking to get started with that!
