I am passionate about exploring new places, learning new languages and meeting with new thoughts. I like to hear anecdotes and play the storyteller around a bonfire with good people and a cold beer. Simple activities make me happy, even though I am always willing to go on big adventures and keen to try new activities. I have a lot and new crazy travelling projects in mind and always aware of finding hidden corners and secret places. Getting lost is probably the best way to discover.

I am a simple person, easy going and happy with anything. I studied Visual Arts in College and I have the dream to study fine arts (drawing/painting/sculpting) in Spain. I want to be a tattoo artist or simpler, a teacher of art (history).

I travelled around Canada for 12 months in 2016-2017.
I am actually planning to go Argentina by car, starting from Canada in 2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like all-inclusive trip, I need to taste the real culture of a country. You can't really understand a culture without meeting local people and I believe couch-surfing is one of the best opportunities to feel it. I haven't got the chance to try CouchSurfing yet, but I am looking forward for it. I looove to meet new people and I will be more than happy to invite them in Canada or wherever my homestay will be :)

Interests

I LOVE arts, principally painting. I like to visit any kind of museums and be informed about the past.
I really like to taste different food, especially when it is cooked style home-made... and accompanied by a good wine.
I have a strong interest for hiking, mountaineering, canoeing/camping and all challenging sports, plus all the simpler ones. I love being in the nature, sleep in a tent, walk barefoot on the grass and cook on a fire... despite the fact I really appreciate big cities as well.
My favorite type of travel is overlanding. I have few projects such to do Italy by moped (Vespa of course) and drive from Canada to Argentina by car.
I also started a blog about the travels I will be doing in the future. Therefore, I like to take pictures as well.
I have so many dreams and interests that make me connect easily with people and be fond of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I am really open-minded about the music, even though I listen mostly Indie Rock. Depending of my mood, I go from Ennio Morricone to Skinny Puppy, maybe except country and heavy metal. I love Cafe Del Mar and any trance music. I am also really interested by learning about the traditional/local/cultural music.

MOVIES
I am watching now -like 99% of the population- “The Walking Dead”. I was before hooked on “True Blood”, “Dexter” and “Lost”. My kind of movies are mostly Horror and True Story/Documentary, but I like almost any kind, depending of my mood :) One on my favourite movie is “La vita e bella” by Roberto Benigni. OH! I am also deeply in love with all the “Pixar” movies !!! In front of a screen, I LOVE chips, chocolate and caramel pop corn; with a pop, it is even better !

BOOKS
I love the absurdity of Boris Vian (L'ecume des jours) and Ghislain Taschereau (L'inspecteur specteur et la planete nette), the fantasy of “Harry Potter” and “His dark materials” (The Golden Compass trilogy), the drama of “The Kite Runner” and finally, the adventures of “Around the world in 10 years” (Pablo Ray) and “Walking the amazon” (Ed Stafford). My favourite book is “The adventures of Tom Sawyer” by Mark Twain and “Ten little Indians” by Agatha Christie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am doing an amazing thing everyday, which is to follow the wave and take every opportunities life gives me. I do not stuck on one place. The entire world is my home.
