I'm a 40-year old Kiwi currently travelling in Europe. I'm cheerful, easygoing, open-minded and considerate. I came to Europe for a cycling planning course at the University of Amsterdam, and am adding some travel some Europe to the end of my stay here.

A bit about me personally - I love meeting new folks, and am passionate about economic, social and environmental sustainability and justice. I love cycling, good discussions, community-building, yoga and am fascinated by human psychology and why we do the things we do, both individually and en masse.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Several friends in New Zealand recommended Couchsurfing, and we've hosted several Couchsurfers at our flat which was great fun. While I enjoy seeing new places, it's mainly the people I'm interested in, and there's no better way to really get to know people and a culture than to stay in their home and hang out.

I live in a very communally-minded flat in NZ, and always love learning more about other cultures and seeing how others live on a day-to-day basis, whether that be mainstream or alternative ways of living, and in flats, couples, families or bigger groups of people living together.
