ABOUT Me
Annie Hu is a Nairobi-based social entrepreneur and a Harvard SEED fellow in 2014. She has traveled quite often to Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda and other African countries for the past 5 years and has kept a close eye on East Africa’s tech ecosystem. She is currently working for a Chinese high-tech company investing in Africa market by delivering the most localized mobile internet services. Before that, she co-founded China House in April 2014, the first Chinese social enterprise to operate in Africa.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have known the Couchsurfing from a Chinese magazine for the first time. I thinking Couchsurfing is one of the amazing things since it deepen our understanding of different countries and smaller our world, both physically and mentally.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did my undergraduate research on Couchsurfing in 2102 and it was an amazing experience.

HOBBIES:
Yoga, traveling, hiking, mountaineering or do some exciting sports.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lots of wonderful moments happened in my life, such as
*Climbed a 5454m mountain called PEAK TWO of Siguniangshan successfully in October 2011. It was so amazing to embrace nature in a high-altitude mountain and enjoy the beauty of snow mountain.
*Cycled the Hainan Island by bike with my friends in February, 2012. For me, riding is an excellent way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of local places.
*Builded and developed a university-student NON-PROFIT organization called Bluetter Caring for Left-behind Children. I have spent lots of time and energy in this organization and my responsibility is to get sponsorship and do a PR job.
*Established a social enterprise based in Nairobi in 2014and have been lived in Africa for more than 5 years since then

I am good at traditional Chinese food, so maybe I can cook with you or just show you how to cook in a Chinese way.
Yoga is my favorite sport and let's do it together if you like.
