Hi! My name is Anne. I am a recent college graduate who is excited to go out and see more of the world and meet some amazing people along the way! I am an adventurous person and love to try new things. I am also an athlete so I love to play sports (my favorites are soccer and rowing, but I am usually happy to play any sport with others), and love outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, running, or just being outside for a walk or a picnic.
I am an engineer and have worked in the healthcare industry, but my interests go far beyond that. I love exchanging ideas with others & hearing new perspectives, discussing politics, reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing games, and am a big animal lover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In all of my past travel experiences, my favorite part has been meeting the kind and vibrant personalities in each new place. I'm hoping that by couchsurfing I will get to meet some really great people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and am always singing or humming some tune. I listen to a huge variety of music - almost everything really - and am always down to find new music and share some of my faves with others!

Some of my favorite books: Sherlock Holmes (all of the stories really), Travels with Charley, The Great Gatsby, Wuthering Heights, Poems of Dylan Thomas, & tons more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm... I'll have to think on it. I have a lot of fun stories but I'm not sure if I have a favorite. I love skydiving if that qualifies here :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love love love learning new things and sharing with others. I would love to learn anything new that a host can share and as far as teaching, I can of course help with English practice if the host isn't fluent in English or miscellaneous other things like I can teach how to play soccer, how to row (although that requires that we find a boat haha), etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my sense of humor and sense of adventure. I can share a different perspective and worldview and would love to both share my view as well as hear all about my hosts. I am down for all sorts of new adventures and would love to also help hosts with anything they might need whether that's help around the house, help with cooking, taking care of pets, etc. Always willing to offer an extra set of hands if needed.
